FreeBox is paid for by the ads that are printed on the packaging.

We are currently donating to Feed Ontario. Every time an ad is scanned we donate a portion to charity

How much does it cost to advertise?
This can depend on several factors:

Do you need a designer?
Are you splitting the ad space with someone?
The Paper takeout boxes have a minimum order of 5000 units. The packaging typically has 4 sides allowing the packaging to be shared with 4 brands. The price can be as little as 600$.
How long does it take to place an order?
Roughly 1 month from design and payment to delivery. We work with local manufacturers who can expedite this process to a few weeks for an additional cost.
How do I start advertising?
Fill out the Quote form or email us from the Contact Us page to get things started.
We discuss your brand, marketing goals and distribution strategy that works with your budget.
Your content is sent to us, we help with placement, modifications and QR code integration for real time performance tracking.
The boxes take 2-6 weeks to manufacture with our local supplier. It's best to place an order as far in advances as possible.
We launch your campaign and enable your dashboard so you can track the success in real-time.

How can I get Free-Box's?
Sign up to become a partner! Fill out the form on the become a partner page. We will then begin finding sponsorship's that work with you!
Which containers does FreeBox Use?
We like to use 1400ml Kraft Boxes (like the one throughout our website), but can use others as well.
How does Profit-Sharing work?
You are automatically opted in for profit sharing with FreeBox.
You receive a set amount that ranges from 1-10 cents for every monetized box scanned. Check out our Calculators to get an idea of how much that would be.
Is shipping included?
Yes! Delivered to your door if you are within the downtown core. Wow, what a rhyme!
How many boxes would be delivered at once?
The minimum that will be delivered at once is 1000, but it is likely to receive 5000+ if your restaurant uses them fast enough. We will ask before hand.
Do we deliver monthly?
No, currently FreeBox is not looking to replace your monthly supplier. We provide additional takeout containers for FREE when they become available. Email us our fill out our form to become part of our network Sign Up .
What type of ads are on the boxes?
Currently we see a lot of local services such as; barbers and salons, dentists, real estate agents, gyms, and other local businesses. We also see outreach programs such as CAMH, Bell let's talk, etc. We make sure that the ads are non-competing to you and you can refuse any boxes at any time.
Can I opt out on certain boxes?
Yes! Your restaurant has the right to pass on boxes for any reason. We send a digital mock up before hand.
